Moye Thompson local ceramists collaborated on an exclusively ours Posies ball collection for blueview atelier. This is truly the heart and soul of the atelier’s philosophy, combing true artisans and a little spark of magic to bring joy to others. These pieces take inspiration from the 17th century posy rings hand inscribed within often using archaic spelling delightfully irregular. “Posy” or “Posies”- a derivative of poetry meaning short rhyme. The rings were used to communicate secret messages of love between the giver and the recipient. The wearing of the words against the skin was believed to increase their efficacy. These posy balls magically chime when you shake them resonating the energy of love into the air. Each has its own vibrational energy created by Moye with the clay beads within. My favorite use is for meditation moments feeling the weight of love in each palm and sending the healing energy into the universe. Make a collection and place in one of Moye’s bowls in your home to always have these treasures surrounding you. What fun to pick a different secret message each day and hold it in your thoughts.
